My approach is relational and collaborative, creating a space of non-judgment, compassion, and creativity. I am trauma-informed, feminist, queer affirming, sex positive, and work from a social justice standpoint. I am here to listen as we explore and understand your unique experience. I believe you are the expert of your own life and I am here to support you according to your individual needs. I bring knowledge and experience working from a psychoanalytic frame, focusing on unconscious thoughts, feelings, and beliefs that can inform behavior and affect. This approach incorporates attachment based theory which explores early relational patterns and how those maybe showing up in the present. I also incorporate mindfulness based practices and dreamwork. This therapeutic style is a process of deep self-reflection which encourages awareness, self-compassion, and individuation. I understand the human experience from a systems approach, recognizing that individuals are shaped by their environment, cultural contexts, and in relationship with others. I am somatically oriented, recognizing the mind body connection, and how this affects our whole selves. I am also holistically minded appreciating that each individual has many parts that need to be explored, seen, heard, felt, and understood. There is nothing more empowering and liberating than becoming your true self.

“Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” - C. G. Jung
